4 Beauty self-care tools you need to have

Having all this extra time at home has given us a bit more time and a chance to self-care about ourselves. From home cooking, exercising, and getting enough sleep to our skincare routine. With salons being closed, we had to take our habits of going for facials, nails or hair blows into our hands.

Isn’t it satisfying having so much more time for yourself now? Now it is the time to give your hair, skin, and body the rest and health they needed from constant anxiety, stress, early mornings, late evenings, too much caffeine, and so on. It may be too demanding and maybe not as exciting for all of us to beautify ourselves each day or each week, and sometimes going to a salon is some sort of relaxation for us, knowing that we are leaving it to experts doing their magic.

However, during quarantine time, I definitely had more time to research different skincare products, more time to have no makeup days and let my skin breathe, and definitely more time to do long facials routine for myself. Below are 4 essential and useful beauty tools you should have in your cupboard. It is not only useful during these days when we have no access to salons, but also for the times when you don’t actually have time to go to a salon, or on your travels.

1. Steamer
Steam is great to open up your pores and helps loosen any buildup of dirt for a deeper cleanse. Opening up your pores also softens blackheads, making them easier to remove. Steaming your face once a week should be a good habit and good company for your exfoliation and mask routine.

2. Massage roller
Face massage rollers can help you to improve blood circulation in the face and can contribute to your skin looking brighter and feeling firmer. It is also beneficial for those who tend to have puffiness around their eyes or around their face. Apart from massaging your face, don’t forget about your neck too!

3. Toning device
Microcurrent technology and waves give a lift to the brows, cheeks, and jawline, it tightens the muscles, leaving you with lifted, glowing and healthy-looking skin. It also helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or to improve facial contours.

4. LED light
In theory, more collagen means that your skin will look smoother and fuller, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red LED light is also thought to reduce inflammation while improving circulation, which can give you a healthier glow and tighten your skin.

5. On-demand beauticians
Not really a tool, but check out on-demand beauticians’ services that can be available for you.
