All you need to get your beauty sleep

1. Night skincare
Good skincare after showering or before bed is a great way to let your skin breathe and heal during the night. Establishing a good night routine is as good as your daily routine. There are plenty of specific night products that you can try out that work for your skin and what you are aiming for. My usual night skincare involved a good wash of my face, toner, serum, night moisturizer, eye cream, and occasionally spot treatment creams. Shop my favorite night products here:

2. PJ’s
Always change your daywear or homeware to PJs before going to sleep. Not only, you don’t want to go to bed in clothes you have been wearing the whole day, but also it is a good habit to feel fresh. Especially now during quarantine time and working from home, to keep us productive and effective during the day, changing clothes whilst staying home set us ahead for the day. 3. Hydration
Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day as well as prior to going to bed. It is recommended to drink 2 liters per day, so always try to hydrate yourself. Try not to consume caffeine during the evening times as it can affect your sleep. I am using Equa smart water bottle with an app that tracks how much water I drink during the day.

4. Download sleep apps
There are apps practically for everything, including to help you sleep better! Whether you want to calm your mind before bedtime (check the Headspace app), listen to some sounds (check the Noisli app), listen to some bedtime stories (check the Sleepiest app), track your sleeping pattern and cycle (check the Sleep Cycle app) or keeping jour journal for your thoughts before bed (check Reflectly app). Whatever the activity can be, it may help you to calm and clear your mind to have a better deep sleep.
5. Read a book

Did you know that apparently just 6 minutes of reading reduces stress by 68%? I always keep one book next to my bedside table and read a chapter or a few pages before going to bed. This helps me to do some reading during the busy day as well as to concentrate my thoughts elsewhere.
6. Optimize your bedroom environment
Whether it is the right temperature for you or the bedroom set you are in. Comfortable bedsheets, good pillows, not too thick or not too thin duvet, and so on. Having good bedding is important for your health, comfort, and of course to make the look and feel of the bedroom well. Think about that you are spending a big chunk of the day in bed, so pay attention to your spine, neck, and other body aches from bad sleeping. Shop my favorite bedroom interior here:
