HOI AN

Coco River Resort & Spa is a resort located in the quiet and peaceful Cam Thanh Village which is about 10 minutes’ drive from the ancient town of Hoi An. The resort is surrounded by nature and the riverside of Hoi An.

THE LOCATION

Located alongside the Thu Bon river, just before it meets the river. The resort is about 3km from the ancient town of Hoi An and the hotel offers regular shuttle buses to and from the city, which makes it much more convenient for customers. Just a short ride from the hotel, you can experience the local way of living, cultural characteristics and the nature of Vietnam. You will see palm tree forests or rice fields around. The location of this resort will make you fully switch off, relax and admire the authentic countryside vibes.

THE ROOM & INTERIOR

Coco River offers different sizes of rooms to cater for travellers and families. The interior of the room is pretty minimalist and you will find everything you need in there. The room was spacious without any barriers.

The room we got was Coco Garden, which came with a bathtub as well as an outdoor shower in a little garden. Wished that the bathtub would actually be located outside in a private garden or some seating areas so the garden can be actually somehow utilised.

The room was located on the ground floor with a private small terrace and easy access to the communal garden and pool in the middle. The location of the room felt like a mini flat in this resort.

THE VIEWS

As mentioned, our room was located on the ground floor with a terrace and mini garden. Hence the views were to nature. However, they do have rooms on the upper floors as well with views either to the resort garden and pool or to the river nearby.

THE FACILITIES

Even though the resort was located about 3 km away from the old quarter, the resort offers regular shuttle buses to and from the city as well as to the An Bang beach. Besides that, to fully relax, they have spa facilities, massages and a beauty corner.

In addition, Coco River offers trips and excursions that you may book with them. Such as cooking classes, basket boat trips or trips to see landmarks.

Last to mention, at Coco River you dine at their floating restaurant overlooking the riverside. This outdoor setting is romantic and scenic! What is more calming that the sound of the water and birds and watching a sunrise or sunset?

Being on this resort was like a discovery through nature, until you reach the endpoint – the riverside views.
