MARRAKESH
Had the pleasure to check into Deallarosa hotel suites and spa in Marrakesh, located about 10 minute drive from the main train station and about half an hour’s walk to Medina. The hotel offers everything you need, from an amazing rooftop view, a buffet-style restaurant, and spa facilities to a gym and swimming pool. Staff are knowledgeable, speak well English and check-in and check-out progress is super smooth.
THE LOCATION
The luxurious and peaceful hotel is located in a clean and quiet area surrounded by greenery and higher-end restaurants. This place is perfect for people seeking for recreational vacation and away from the hassle of Medina. You will explore and witness a totally different neighbourhood of Marrakesh, where you can explore high-end bars and restaurants as well as shopping malls located a few meters away from the hotel.
THE ROOM & INTERIOR
Dellarosa hotel suites and spa offers comfortable rooms in various sizes to accommodate you whether you are travelling with your partner, friend or family. It has everything you need and everything you expect a hotel should have. Once you step into the hotel, the decor of the lounge and reception reflects to be a premium hotel, and it is also rated as a 4-star hotel. The rooms are a bit more minimalist, with limited decorations. The overall hotel has hints of Moroccan decor, but the rooms don’t have it all. The hotel is very modern and to European standards.
Dellarosa hotel has double rooms, junior suites and family suites. Suites room will come with a “living room/lounge” as well as a balcony. We checked into a junior suite and the lounge space was massive. Maybe a bit too massive with a lot of empty spaces which could be utilised somehow.
THE VIEWS
Our junior suite had a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool area of the hotel. On the other hand, the hotel has also a rooftop bar (which is never in use, at least we never saw staff in there when we were up). This Sky garden rooftop is used for people to chill, sunbathe or have drinks. It is never crowded and always has enough space to relax or admire the view of Marrakesh from the top. This place was my favourite spot in the hotel! Especially love the sunbathing deck area and the small Berber tent seating.
THE FACILITIES
As mentioned already at the beginning of my post and as the hotel name say, the hotel offers spa and wellness facilities, which include a fitness area, swimming pool, sauna, massages as well Moroccan traditional hammam and jacuzzi. Their wellness services are paid per service and can be bookable on the day. Apart from these recreational services, you can book tours or shuttle buses from the hotel.
Dellarosa has also Organza restaurant which is a buffet-style dining place for all-day dining. They offer both continental and Moroccan food for breakfast and dinner. In addition to that, they have another bar lounge located on the ground floor near the swimming pool area, which is open every evening for hosts to enjoy their stay. To summarise, the hotel was stylish and warm and welcoming.
