February marks the end of the summertime in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore it is a suitable time to visit places in Argentina and Chile. To be specific, visit the beautiful Patagonia region. Usually, the end of January of the beginning of February is Lunar New Year or so-called Tết.  The word is a shortened form of Tết Nguyên Đán, which is Sino-Vietnamese for “Feast of the First Morning of the First Day” This is the most important celebration in the Vietnamese culture and the whole country is buzzing. The preparation for this day starts about 2 weeks before the day. The streets are all decorated with flags, lanterns or flowers. This is actually a flower season in Vietnam. Hence you’ll find many flower markets and decorations around. Visit Vietnam in February to experience this big celebration as well as enjoy the mild and warm weather throughout.
