Delhi is a great place to visit all year round. October to March marks the start of autumn, therefore the weather will be still very pleasant and sunny. March is the time of a major festival in India, so-called Holi Festival. The vibrancy of colours is something that brings in a lot of positivity and joy. The festival is held after the full moon and the day before Holi a large bonfire is lit that helps in burning out the evil spirits.

Valencia, Spain

Valencia is not only known for Spain’s beaches but also for the Falles festival. A week-long festival is held in March where you can see huger wooden statues, traditional Valencian ceramics and other craftsmanship in traditional dresses. This festival goes along with big fireworks and other activities almost every day and it is a memorable experience to witness whilst in Valencia. Apart from this crazy festival, Valencia is also known for its City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic buildings including a planetarium, oceanarium and museums.
